Psychological Science is a monthly scientific journal of the Association for Psychological Science (APS), published by Blackwell Publishing. It is one of the most influential journals in psychology.

Psychological Science publishes general reviews, research reports, and short commentaries. It is a general-interest journal that tends to publish articles that have general theoretical significance across psychology and are of broad interest.1 Its editor is Robert Kail, Professor of Psychology at Purdue University.2

The journal has an impact factor of 4.571, placing it in the top ten psychology journals worldwide.2 Its peer review process is competitive, with approximately 1800 submissions received annually and a 14% acceptance rate.3 The 20,000 members of the APS receive subscriptions as part of their annual dues, giving it a large and diverse readership.
